Invest Gladstone - a multimedia Gladstone Region investment information gateway

Investors now have a new resource for their Gladstone Region investment enquiries.
Gladstone Economic and Industry Development Board (GEIDB) and Gladstone Area Promotion and Development Ltd (GAPDL) have developed a multimedia information gateway to assist with investment decisions in the Gladstone Region.
The GEIDB & GAPDL “Invest Gladstone” initiative brings together a wealth of accessible regional information and links investors to current information sources for the answers to their questions.
The “Invest Gladstone” initiative includes hard copy information, a CD and a dedicated web portal covering all types of investment information for industry, retail, tourism and residential sectors.
The initiative directs investors to regional overviews, facts, current statistics, publications, and the World Wide Web from various sources including government, development, research, industry and private agencies.
Dr Ken King, GEIDB Chief Executive said “The information in the “Invest Gladstone” initiative provides reference to the region’s world class industry infrastructure such as the deep water port, transport links, designated industrial land, utilities, raw materials, skilled labour and first class training facilities.”
“The initiative emphasises our strong industry support sector, innovative technology, research and development, well-established and supportive community, competitive and sound economic structure, government support and mechanisms designed to facilitate future growth.”
“Also highlighted for investor appraisal in the initiative are our rapidly developing tourism industry and corporate conference market; our faster than average population growth; demand for retail quality and choice; and housing investment opportunities,” Dr King said.
“The information is presented in a user friendly way to allow easy access to a vast amount of information about the Gladstone Region.”
